Mammas Milk Bar was founded by Wendy, mum to two babies who, like many mothers around the world, struggled with low milk supply when trying to nourish both herself and her infants through breastfeeding. Not wanting to rely too much on the many sweet lactation treats available out there, she began sourcing and mixing her own versatile powder blends. These homemade blends consisted of natural galactagogues (promoters of breastmilk production) such as oats, brewers yeast, maca, fennel, flaxseed, sacha inchi, and moringa leaf, all of which have a long tradition of use in cultures around the world to naturally support breastfeeding.
