SimpliciThé is a wellness brand based in Luxembourg offering sustainably packaged teas and functional blends. One of the most important elements of Simplicithé, is the concept of tea blends. These are essentially mixtures of different types of tea, that often serve a specific function. "Some teas wake you up, some calm you down, some are pure, some are more aromatic. There is a tea for every mood and every occasion. I could never choose a favourite. It all depends on the situation". Furthermore, there are the herbal teas which are said to have beneficial health effects. These are often recipes for herbal blends handed down through generations in each family. For their own selection, Simplicithé even designed skincare blends for a cosmetic company from Luxembourg. Another crucial part of Simplicithé is the aspect of sustainability. It’s important to approach everything in life with respect to the environment and drinking tea is no exception to this. We found it hard to find tea that is locally produced or that has entirely eco-friendly packaging. For Simplicithé, we combine both at the same time and all of our packaging is biodegradable. There is zero plastic. As a result, the tea pouches are made of corn-starch for example, and take-away cups are entirely recyclable for example. For the future, Simplicithé Teahouse even plans to add a few other, similar local products.
