How it started Francesca created Le Mutt - a beautiful, plush stuffed animal - in 1980. Pregnant with her first child she was inspired to design over 100 toys but it was Le Mutt that spoke to the great play and heart value she was looking for. She designed Le Mutt to be soft, with jointed arms, legs, and head for floppy movement. Le Mutt's big eyes look directly into a child’s eyes and their hearts. Le Mutt is unique and merited a design patent that changed the whole soft toy industry. And now, we're back and re-launching le mutt and his friends.
