About Sarōta Salt

You hear a lot about Himalayan rock salt, but not so much about the fact that most of it comes from Pakistan. Here at Sarōta, we’re on a mission to give credit where it’s due and celebrate its true origins. So let’s call it what it is - premium salt from Pakistan. If you take something out, the least you can do is put something back. We’re proud to share the wonderful pink salt from the Khewra mines with the world, but we’re well aware that we also have a responsibility to put something back into Pakistan. It’s what motivated us to begin the process of setting up the Sarōta Foundation; a charitable body supporting educational initiatives throughout the country. There's work to do. But our pledge from day one has been to put 5% of all profits towards this cause.Read their story
