About Sense and Soleil

Sense and Soleil is a sunwear line designed to protect and empower. Founded by Ariel Ginsburg, the brand was born from a deeply personal journey after a melanoma diagnosis in 2019 and seeing both of her parents and grandfather face skin cancer. With an experience in aesthetics and a love for skincare and design, Ariel set out to reimagine what sun protection could look and feel like. Sense & Soleil designs high-end UPF 50+ accessories that blend timeless elegance with everyday wearability. Each design is inspired by personal travels and a touch of 70s nostalgia. Our limited-run collection of hats and bandanas is crafted from sun-protective fabric that blocks 98% of the sun’s harmful rays- the same rays linked to premature aging and skin cancer. At Sense and Soleil, our mission is to protect and empower through thoughtful design, functional fashion, and purpose-driven giving. We are taking the guesswork out of sun safety and making sun-protection sexy. Sense and Soleil is committed to raising awareness around the importance of skin cancer prevention and early detection. A portion of proceeds from each sale is donated to the Melanoma Research Foundation, helping fund research, education, and support for those impacted by skin cancer.Read their story
