Hi! We’re Carlien and Roland, the creative duo behind Daring Dutch Designers. Our journey as artists and entrepreneurs began when we hit the road full-time in our self-converted campervan, chasing freedom, simplicity, and inspiration in the natural world around us. As we travel through ever-changing landscapes — from Nordic forests to rugged mountain ranges — we find endless inspiration in the quiet beauty of nature: the shapes of leaves, the stillness of birds, the elegance of wildflowers, and the gentle textures of stone, wood, and linen. Our work reflects a deep love for Japandi, Scandinavian, and Nordic design — aesthetics that celebrate minimalism, calm, and connection to nature.
