About Ink + Wool

Ink + Wool is an inspired collaboration between Isola Handmade Originals and Sol Shine. Each small business originated from the creative minds of Kali Berg and Krysti Lacy respectively; women driven by their love for hand crafted goods and the community. Sol Shine is the "INK", all of our screen printed goods are designed and printed by hand in the store. Isola Handmade is the "WOOL", Kali designs and hand knits all of our knitwear herself. The team behind Ink + Wool is Kali Berg, Justen Berg, Krysti Lacy, and Dave Lacy. Justen and Dave met and became friends while following their shared passion to become paramedics in Ellensburg, WA. Krysti was working as a hairdresser and met Dave at the salon. Kali had a brief career as an EMT and met Justen while they were working on an ambulance together in Yakima, WA. The four have formed a tight friendship as they navigate the ups and downs of adulthood and raising families. When the work is done for the day, you can find the Ink + Wool team with their families, jamming out to Dave Mathews Band, exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and if it’s a Sunday, watching the Seahawks (no matter what).
