About Nukan

Nukan is a company founded by me, Outi Ansamaa, a Finnish textile designer. I have always appreciated craftsmanship and handmade work. It is an integral part of Finnishness and it is an integral part of myself as well. For my part, I also want to protect nature and its diversity. I am not in favor of fast fashion, but I want the garment to be usable even years from now. I greatly appreciate high quality natural materials as they are long lasting and timeless. They are an ecological choice. I appreciate all kinds of craftsmanship. For me as an entrepreneur, it is important that both the making of the craft and the finished product are on an ethically sustainable basis.Read their story
