About Patchumz

We first started during the pandemic with Happy Masks—reusable masks that families loved because they were both effective and fun to wear. As the world reopened, we asked ourselves: what else could we create that would spark joy every day? That question led to our very first new product: a UPF 50+ sun hat with a twist—swappable, Velcro-backed patches called Patchumz®. The idea was simple: create a sun hat that kids would actually want to wear, while giving parents peace of mind. Families quickly fell in love. Parents shared how Patchumz sparked creativity and self-expression, while kids loved swapping patches to match their ever-changing interests. What began with one hat has grown into a full line of gear — caps, pouches, lunchbags, and more — all designed to be fun, functional, and endlessly customizable. And because we offer adult sizes too, Patchumz are perfect for parents who are kids at heart or who want to match with their little ones. In 2025, Patchumz became its own brand. Today, we create gear that grows and shifts with kids’ imaginations, so they can keep showing up in the world as their most confident, creative selves.
