I am the fourth generation of herbalists in my family. Through my work, I experience my family heritage every day. The spirit of Grandma Sofia and her story is alive in me. Thanks to this inspiration, I can do more. As unbelievable as it may sound, I started my training and apprenticeship at the age of five. During my free time from school, I lived in my grandmother's cottage in the countryside and assisted her in making ointments, decoctions and extracts. I saw her talk to his patients and perform treatments. It was then that she began to teach me the principles of the collection of plants, their types and properties. Grandma learned this from her mother and practised in the most difficult conditions - during the war. She was taken prisoner when she was sixteen. Despite the limitations and young age, risking her life by treating partisan soldiers. Time was kind to me and gave me fifteen years of working with my grandmother.Read their story
