By Milo was born out of a mission: to demystify the hair styling industry through a simple and honest approach. Having met back in the heady hay days of the early 90's Milo & his wife, Em came from 2 very different ends of the industry. Milo, Gents hairdressing and fashion and Emma high end Male & Female styling having learnt her trade and working with Freider’s, Mayfair to then style some of the great and famous. With two very different careers and very different characters they wanted different things from the products so their main aim was to find multifunctional products that were conscious, easy to use, able to layer but most importantly worked for different people on different styles. Their mandate: “To lead the Industry of ‘Human Happiness’ with elegant everyday, simple, easy to use hair styling and fragrance.". With a focus on grooming, culture and classic styling; with the customers and their lifestyles uppermost in their minds, unique beneficial ingredients, textures, and innovation. By Milo produces unique hair styling formulations and fragrances which are each created to meet a demanding need in the market with a unique signature story and a reason to exist in an already cluttered market. All By Milo products are named after places or experiences close to Milo's & Em's heart and local them in Brighton, England. Read their story
