The brand’s aesthetic brings a softer touch to modern styles and simple, minimalist lines to footwear and handbags. UTILITARIAN believes that if people wear what they feel most authentic in, rather than what society tells them to, gender gaps will be bridged and deep rooted societal issues can begin to be mended. When we focus less on other people’s perceptions and more on ourselves, we can live more authentic, compassionate, and utilitarian lives. Founded in 2020 by Bentley Wederski, UTILITARIAN was created to fill a need for gender-neutral styles amidst an oversaturated market with limited options. The brand believes in the importance of creating positive change, of being a business that stands up for what is right, and giving a voice to our generation’s important issues.
