About Frankie and Dottie's

Hello, my name is Jordan, the founder of F&D, along with Frankie & Dottie themselves of course, and this is our story! I have always loved dogs: our family have had several Boxers over the years (Red, Stingo, Spike & Ruby) as well as our Cocker Spaniel Molly. In 2017, along came our very own Frankie and 8 months later, her full sister Dottie, my first time being a proper Dog Dad! I quickly came to realise a couple of things about the Petwear industry: First, it is extremely difficult to find quality clothing and accessories for Dachshunds. Tiny legs, big chests, long bodies: adorable but a nightmare sizing. I also found that, while there is a lot of clothing and products for humans to express their love of dogs, it wasn’t up to the same quality or style that I’d want to wear. So, in 2020 during the lockdowns and facing redundancy from my job, I took the plunge and decided to create a dog lifestyle brand and thankfully, have never looked back! F&D is now 3 years old and we sell on both our own website and Joules, have wholesale stockists and have traded at Discover Dogs, DogFest & Crufts! Read their story
