About Little Ann Studio

I spent most of my traditional career working for some of the most prestigious companies as the only woman in all-male teams in the tech field. In my later 30s, I was blessed with a dream come true – the birth of my daughter. I easily understood that any career path would be less of a priority than time with my precious girl. While on maternity leave, I joined a startup to work remotely as a senior-level tech. In 2022, I was laid off with half of that company’s staff. Around the same time, my grandmother and best friend, Ann, passed away and left me an incredible gift: an embroidery machine, and her entire sewing room. I was able to then use my tech knowledge to start manually digitizing anything and everything that was interesting. Thus began a new passion: stitching out these digitized files into cute patches and fun embroidered decor. Now you'll find me stealing time in my craft room in between painting, reading, jumping around, and being silly with my little one.
