About Strange Dirt

MarSha Yi Robinson is a self-taught artist who was born in Seoul, Korea; raised in both New York City and Los Angeles; and currently lives in the Southwest. Her artwork—hand-drawn and primarily using India ink—combines both floral and geometric structures. The contrast between the floral and geometric produces a dynamic tension that troubles binary relationships, such as feminine/masculine, hard/soft, and organic/synthetic. In doing so, her paintings challenge commonplace notions of floral beauty, expanding botanical aesthetics and concepts into more diverse and nuanced territory. Since 2014, Robinson created and sold her original works and fine art prints as Strange Dirt. She shows with Skye Gallery in New York City. About Petite Prints In an effort to help elevate small scale art and make fine art more accessible, l've transformed my large, hand-drawn, illustrative paintings into small scale, fine art prints. Unlike conventional greeting and postcards, Petite's are printed using rich, archival grade inks on luscious cotton paper, making them heirloom quality. Available in a variety of sizes including 5x7, 6x9, 8x8, 8x10; they are exclusively sold through retailers nationally. For moisture, dust, and scratch protection, prints come enveloped in crystal clear, acid-free plastic sleeves backed with a Strange Dirt branded, kraft chipboard.
