Savanna Baskets is a rural-based social enterprise, working directly with women groups in Northern Ghana, Africa, in a collaborative partnership relationship, to create economic opportunities for empowerment, provide sustainable incomes and to alleviate rural poverty. We believe in keeping the family unit, the community and the environment in which we live. We believe and work towards sustaining and improving these facets for the next generation. This collaborative partnership relationship seeks to build the capacity of the artisans from a level of dependence to the level of independence, no matter how small or big.
