Hi, I’m Kasia – the illustrator behind NKASSIA. I draw things that feel real. Not what sells. Not what’s trending. Just what’s true. Sometimes quiet, sometimes angry, sometimes hilarious – but always honest. My cards, prints and wrapping paper are made for people who feel deeply, care fiercely, and still believe we can do better. Originally from Poland, now based in Leith (Edinburgh), I bring my heritage, daily life and occasional rage into what I make – from a small drawing of a snail to a feminist Christmas card with teeth. These aren’t just products. They’re little acts of empathy, protest, comfort – or all three. NKASSIA is about real connection and slow creativity in a world that’s too fast, too fake, and too loud. I don’t believe in mass production, forced cheer or designing for algorithms. I believe in justice, curiosity, paper that speaks, and making space for what matters. Everything’s made in the UK using FSC-certified paper and plastic-free packaging. My printers use CO₂-neutral presses and print-on-demand, so nothing goes to waste. No landfill. No fluff.
