Eamonn Leacy was inspired to create an artisan spirits brand imbued with the impressive history of the area in which he lives with his family in the lush green Surrey countryside. Combining his passion for all things opulent with the rich, culturally significant moments occurring right on his doorstep, Eamonn wanted to create a product that honoured the history of Runnymede, while celebrating local small-batch production and delicious flavours that have stood the test of time. In December 2023, the first product, Magna Carta Gin, was launched. Utilising premium ingredients with medieval roots, such as juniper berries, green peppercorn, and orange, and adding modern notes of hibiscus, lemon, and Tonka bean, Magna Carta Gin is a love letter to Eamonn’s daughter Clementine.
