About Susie Hamilton Art

I love to celebrate the beauty of nature through the use of cheerful and uplifting colours and interesting patterns and form. In my latest series, I have created a design to reflect each month of the year and my artwork captures the essence of each flowering month and the shift in seasons. I begin each piece by collecting flowers from the garden or sketching them whilst out walking. I then returns to my studio to make some sketches and decides upon a composition. My colour palettes reflect the mood of the season and my use of gouache acrylic paints create uplifting and colourful designs. My paintings are available as giclee prints (sizes A5, A4 & A3) and cards printed on high quality 350gsm artist card. Read their story
