About Adanel Studio

Hi! I am Alea Morren and I am the founder and owner of Adanel Studio, opened in 2021. I am a mother of 3, and my middle child has FOXG1, a very rare neurological disorder. To meet his complex needs, I live and work in 2 states- Pennsylvania & Georgia. I work as professional artist painting in alcohol inks and acrylics. I also host art classes in both Pittsburgh & Atlanta and enjoy building community in both places. I am a strong believer in elevating the ordinary by making items that are both useful and beautiful. My hand-painted ceramics are made using alcohol inks, a remarkable medium that flows and refuses total control. Each one is a unique work of art, as they are each hand done. In addition to ceramics, I design items like scarves, cosmetic pouches and ceramic mugs that feature my original alcohol ink paintings, but factory printed to ensure durability (as those items are regularly washed). I'm always exploring new materials to work with and seek to continually learn and master whatever I put my mind to. I would love to work with you to meet your goals as well.
