About Big Year Coffee

Hi, I'm Avery, a PhD student studying Avian Ecology at UBC and owner of Big Year Coffee. I roast organic, shade-grown coffee called Bird Friendly that is certified by the Smithsonian Institute for Migratory Birds. Bird-friendly coffee is proven to attract and maintain healthy populations of birds and wildlife by using agroforestry methods that require 11+ species of native trees, canopy layers, and a minimum tree height of 40'. The farms I work with range from America to Africa currently, and we are always looking to add more certified coffees to our lineup. We offer competitive wholesale rates on Faire. Wholesale space is limited, as I only have the capacity to roast and package so much coffee. We are currently accepting a few small and sustainably focused coffee shops/vendors/nonprofits for wholesale agreements. Once I reach capacity, I will continue to prioritize repeat vendors with quick and efficient order delivery, plus the freshest coffee.
