About Carrement Belle

In June 1986, a small treasure-filled boutique opened its doors at 5 rue Auguste Pellet in the heart of Nîmes: Carrément Belle. Alongside its beautifully curated costume jewellery, the shop offered bags, scarves, pouches and other accessories — and it was here that La Baigneuse, the logo created by artist Frédéric Jammes, first made her appearance. The idea of creating a perfume soon became a natural next step. As the ultimate fashion accessory, fragrance would also capture the olfactory identity of Carrément Belle. When Catherine and Frank set out on this journey, they leaned on their endless ideas and impeccable taste. For many years, the fragrances were developed under Frank’s direction, until their son Maxime joined the adventure in 2010 — and has been part of it ever since.
