How my vitiligo changed my life. After quitting a job that wasn't making me happy, I decided to follow my dreams of having my own business. I've always known that I would have my own business one day, but was never quite sure what it would be. I always had an interest in beauty and after pursuing it in college, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I started my journey after going through a tough time and really struggling with my mental health, I always just wanted to fit in and be like everyone else, no matter how it affected me mentally. I struggled with my body confidence for years after being diagnosed with vitiligo, I would hide behind body make up and always try to wear clothes that didn't show my skin. I knew that I couldn't be the only one feeling this way in terms of body confidence, so I started my blog. Becoming a wellness advocate and sharing my story was the best thing I could ever do. It gave me confidence and I wanted to help others do the same. I am so proud of how far I've come. It brings me so much joy that now I get to share my story and help others feel confident in their own skin.
