About Bird House Press

Bird House Press is a one-woman owned creative brand in Merseyside, England, owned by Rachel! (that's me!) I have always loved being creative, making things, and learning new things. Ask my parents and they will tell you I was always making 'books' as soon as I could hold a crayon (drawing on squares of paper and stapling them together!), and I've always enjoyed trying new hobbies, from basic bead jewellery, watercolours, photography, screen-printing Whatever it is - I like to be learning or doing something creative. My illustrations cover a range of things - from smiling fruit slices, happy ice lollies, cats in Space and a range of fun things in between. All my illustrations start as a sketch with pencil and paper, and then brought to life using my ipad.
