In 2022, Alvaro Herrera took a leap of faith and transformed his garage into a bustling hub of creativity and technology. With a vision of delivering top-notch 3D printing services, he founded Ragnarok AE LLC. Starting with just a handful of printers and a passion for precision, Alvaro built his business brick by brick, fueled by his dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction. Initially catering to local B2C clients, Ragnarok AE quickly gained traction for its exceptional quality in both filament and resin printing. Word spread, and by 2024, the company had grown exponentially. Alvaro now operates a robust fleet of 40 printers in his garage and partners with a remote facility that houses an additional 12 machines. This partnership not only expanded production capabilities but also opened doors to diverse markets, including a steady stream of Etsy orders and a recurring contract for customized panels from a loyal B2B client. In addition to printing services, Ragnarok AE introduced its own High Speed PLA+ gradient filament series in response to market demand for premium, AMS-compatible materials. The product, designed for use with popular systems like Bambu, Creality, and Anycubic, became a favorite among hobbyists and professionals alike. Operating Wednesday through Saturday, Alvaro balances his business ambitions with his personal life in Royal Palm Beach, FL, where he lives with his wife, two kids, and two loyal dogs.
