My momma raised me to believe in magic. She showed me that with a shift in perspective, you can see the extraordinary everywhere.... in the stars, great literature, music, and travels to strange places. Magic is in my blood and my bones, my laughter and my tears. Rabbit Rabbit Co was conceived during the time my Grandma fell ill. As her health began to decline, we would sit in the kitchen listening to her stories. Grandma Babe spun her Italian old wives' tales filled with hidden truths, as we dried flowers, mixed fragrances, and read tarot cards. Purse on the floor, money out the door. Heads up penny, pick it up. “Rabbit Rabbit” spoken out loud upon waking the first day of a new month brings good luck. Grandma Babe passed on early in the morning of December 2, 2018, a few hours after her beloved new-month ritual. Rabbit Rabbit Co was created as part of healing the loss of such a special spirit, and to honor the magic of our fierce female ancestors.
