About Meliodas Apicoltura

Meliodas Apiculture was born in Modena from a strong desire to live and work closely with nature and convey the importance it holds in our lives. We want to be an inspiration for those who, like us, have chosen to live a simple life in harmony with the environment around us. Understanding our habitat and taking care of the living beings that inhabit it is essential to resonate with it; experiencing its scents, sounds, and flavors is truly exciting, and bees, in this sense, give us a real golden treasure every year that holds all of this: honey. Meliodas aims to be the projection of our way of living, and following these ideals, we have decided to practice Ethical Beekeeping! We believe that the beekeeper is an important guardian of environmental balance, so for us, it is essential to keep the bees healthy. We prefer to follow their life cycle rather than shape it, and we always try to manage our apiaries in the least invasive way possible: we limit visits to only what is strictly necessary, we only take the excess honey, leaving adequate reserves for the winter, and we do not adopt techniques that could harm the bees.Read their story
