WELCOME to Sourdough by the Sea, here in Brighton, East Sussex. Jim and Fiona (and their sourdoughs) can be found in a tiny kitchen by the seaside in Brighton, East Sussex. Founded in 2021, our aim is to help people become better bakers, and become more creative with honest, homegrown ingredients. You have the opportunity to share in one of the purest, and healthiest sourdough starters available, with Sourdough by the Sea. Starter cultures can be purchased in dried version. All come in sealed bio pouches, and shipped worldwide in large letter cardboard envelope. The dried version lasts indefinitely, but for retail purposes we stamp with 1 year expiry date from date of shipping. We send our beloved starters as far as the Shetland Isles, and beyond..
