Chalo is a Belgian, LOVE brand that markets completely natural, honest & sustainable products. We want to honor the traditional Indian Chai legacy by offering the world the authentic recipe in a convenient, consistent and affordable solution while respecting the creators' story. When Gita volunteered as an Indian adopted young woman in her own orphanage at the Missionaries of Charity in 2010, she discovered Chai, a spicy yet heartwarming black tea and milk-based drink made with a unique blend of herbs. This delicious drink was a real comfort and proved to be the wonderful alternative for people who love something full of character but want to limit their caffeine intake. When she discovered that the existing Chai in the West did not come from India nor respected an authentic recipe, the idea to start this brand was born quickly and the rest is the history we write today. By the way, when the Chaiwallah - literally tea maker - pours the black tea into the herbal mixture to prepare an authentic Chai, the bystanders and waiting customers shout: “Chalo!” In Hindi, it means: -Let's go, let's move forward- The brand name was born and brings us to Chalo's best-known product line, Chai Latte in 7 different award-winning flavors. 100% natural, 100% story-telling and 100% authentic.
