About Folk and Fortune

Folk and Fortune has been the home of fun and quirky acrylic and wooden jewellery since 2015. Designed and lovingly handmade in the Welsh countryside by a one-woman small business. Each piece starts out as a sketch on paper, before being digitally redrawn. I then cut and engrave each individual piece of the design by laser. Etched details are carefully hand painted, and pieces are assemble by hand. The materials used in my designs are Perspex acrylic sheets (GreenCast 100% recycled acrylics wherever possible) and FSC Certified, sustainably sourced plywood. Jewellery pieces are presented in beautiful branded eco-friendly cardboard boxes (these are FSC certified and recyclable, and 15% of the pulp has been replaced with a by-product from corn production). A jewellery care card - also printed onto recycled card - is enclosed in each box to explain how best to care for and clean your jewellery. Some larger statement necklaces are presented on a branded recycled backing arch postcard.Read their story
