About VapoWesp

"Naturally repelling wasps and mosquitoes based on a time-tested home remedy" was the foundation for VapoWesp, a mother-daughter startup from Stuttgart, founded during the first Corona lockdown in October 2020. In an incense box made of FSC-certified bamboo wood, coffee powder (not included) can be safely smoked, and herbal spice blends (VapoPowder in 4 different varieties) can be added to flavor the coffee smoke. The cooled ash can even be used as an organic flower and plant fertilizer. The founders showcased VapoWesp on the VOX startup show "Die Höhle der Löwen" in May 2022, managed to secure Ralf Dümmel as an investor, and were awarded "Green Innovator of the Year 2023" by the medium "Die Deutsche Wirtschaft" for their sustainable products. All packaging materials can be 100% recycled, the company mainly ships in used cartons, and produces stuffing and filling material from donated cartons themselves.Read their story
