Designer and Craftsman Justin Hossle is a self-taught woodworker, specializing in building handcrafted modern and mid-century modern designs, bringing his unique style to each piece. He aims to offer furniture and decor pieces that will last for generations using natural, sustainable materials, and designs that will stand the test of time. Relic Modern operates out of a 2,000 square foot studio in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, taking inspiration from a community of artists. His work has earned numerous awards and public commissions, and can be found at art shows and retail locations throughout the country. Justin spends his spare time with his wife, son and their cat, Kitty Kitty. He enjoys fitness activities, sci-fi/fantasy/mystery/psychological movies and tv shows, brain puzzles, and playing the piano. Justin daydreams and ponders the scope of the universe, and practices being mindful of our tiny place in it, hence his arm tattoo from Carl Sagan's "The Pale Blue Dot". The tattoo reads: "on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam".Read their story
