I started making candles during Covid when I discovered how toxic most candles are. I come from a large family and wanted to make some handmade Christmas gifts that were elegant and meaningful. As I've told a few people since - one trip to Hobby Lobby and it was love at first candle! That first candle turned out so perfectly and I thought "how hard can this be?" But like most things, to get really good at anything requires time, effort, research-and in my case a lot of candle wicks! My years as a nurse practitioner and baker helped me to persevere. I've since added wax melts, room sprays and cold processed soaps to my line, inspired by other makers through the years. Our products are natural, vegan and eco friendly. The candles are hand-poured using a proprietary blend of coconut and soy waxes, lead free cotton core wicks, and carefully sourced fragrance and essential oils that are free from phthalates, reproductive toxins and parabens. My mother, Rose passed away shortly before I started making candles. She was an artist in her own right and I named my company after her.Read their story
