Akenberg is a Swedish design house with a singular aesthetic. Based in Luleå, Sweden we are set out to create accessories and sunglasses through meticulous craftsmanship, providing a new perspective on refined minimalism. Since day one, we have committed ourselves to bring true value into your life through meticulous handicraft without compromising at the expense of sustainability. We like to call it a bold expression with a smaller footprint. Our philosophy takes a holistic approach. We don’t want to design unnecessary objects. Everything that we do must have a given place, a purpose and evoke a new emotion. Every piece is designed in Sweden with quality, authenticity and sustainability in mind. Inspired by the arctic lifestyle, our ambition is to make every individual feel strong, confident and unique by providing a new perspective on refined minimalism; handmade pieces that transcend trends. Through our design, we want to explore how we form our opinions, our relationships and ourselves when change is the only constant in life.
