How elou was born? Elou Cork toys was born from an idea of an entrepreneur that works in the toy industry for more than 20 years. His large experience and knowledge, supported by a market research gave him the idea of a sustainable toy, hard to copy and 100% Portuguese. Due to is location, in the center of Cork industry, the creation of a cork-made toy was natural. The process took 3 years to be matured into a project and was launched in 2016 as Elou Cork Toys. What are Elou cork Toys made of? At Elou we produce, and design toys made of cork. Cork is a natural material, noble and with a unique ecological and sustainable status when compared to other types of material. Cork is the raw material at the basis of all elou products. A living and natural material that has been, from the beginning, the inspiration behind elou in its entirety, whose objective is to create a product line of minimalist conception, liable to restore the naturalness inherent in the act of playing.
