Owner of two Spinoni gundogs and a keen clay pigeon shooter, Claire is intrinsically connected to her target audience. Being British through and through is a massive part of the brand’s ethos; not only are Barker & Sloane’s products developed and manufactured in Claire’s own lab in rural Wiltshire but she formulates her unique plant-based formulas using British oils from British farmers, many of whom are local. Developing the products in house from scratch and controlling the supply chain from end to end means that there are absolutely no synthetic ingredients or fillers lurking in Barker & Sloane’s skincare, making them gentle on even the most sensitive of skin types.
