About Metta Play

Ship from USA and Australia I'm so grateful you're here. Metta translates to loving kindness and is the ongoing practice of compassion. It is our vision to instil this practice, even just a little, in everyday life. Not only for ourselves, but for each other, for the Earth, and for the generations to come. I'm Via, mama of 2, Yoga Teacher, founder of Metta Play. I dreamed up a tool. One I can see my own kids using. To introduce them to yoga and mindfulness, to learn the skills of emotional regulation. Growing up Asian, mental health was not a thing! And I never had access to materials that represented me. And all the tools I saw in the market didn’t have ‘me’ in it – my background, my culture, my language, my face. I wanted to change that – for my kids, yours and everyone else's. So I made Metta Play – bilingual yoga and affirmation cards. We can only be what we see. Made sustainably, with inclusive illustrations and two written languages – I am so proud to help empower tiny humans to become more aware, fierce and compassionate. 10% of profits are donated to help improve the future and education of children in need.Read their story
