About Superfine Chocolate

Using classic techniques and the finest ingredients, Superfine is a small woman-owned chocolate company. Marisa Favata began Superfine in 2021 from her tiny New York City apartment. A classically trained pastry chef, her work celebrates nostalgia, craftsmanship, and the beauty of simple ingredients. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, she refined her skills in the kitchens of Gramercy Tavern and Per Se before founding Superfine in New York City. Her chocolates reflect her love of local ingredients, and belief that the smallest details make the greatest impact. Read their story
