About Kassiera

I am Karlie Hoferichter, and I am the CEO & Founder of Kassiera. I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, frequently working retail jobs at luxury stores part time. Enamored with luxury fabrics and quality craftsmanship, I was particularly drawn to the silk scarves offered by many of the brands. I also loved how people shopped for them- buying them for gifts, keepsakes, or to add a little pop to the neutral-colored handbag that they had just invested in. I also have a strong passion for eco-friendly fashion. However, as a 20-something year old, I’m also very aware that most people can’t afford a $300-$400 silk scarf, so I wanted to create an alternative option for people who want a luxury product at an affordable cost. While practicing conscious-consumerism, scarves are a versatile way to change up a neutral, timeless look that you can wear over and over again in different ways for years to come.
