Based in Statesboro, Georgia, Lois Harvey creates thoughtfully crafted ceramic pieces that bring beauty and intention to the everyday. Each object is made by hand, with attention to balance, comfort, and refined detail—designed to elevate simple rituals like drinking your morning coffee into meaningful moments of reflection. Lois developed her love for ceramics while studying at Georgia Southern University, where she earned her BFA in 3D Art. After honing her skills at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia and working in high-touch finishes in New York City, she returned to Georgia in 2022 to deepen her studio practice and share her passion through teaching workshops for adults and children. Her signature touches—like perfectly balanced handles and burnished mug feet—reveal her dedication to form and feel. She meticulously tests glaze combinations to create timeless surfaces with a modern sensibility.
