About Root Knitwear

Lauren Root is first a wife and mother of 3 with a love for knitting and all things crafty. Lauren resides in the PNW amongst the trees and mostly grey skies. If she is not homeschooling her 3 children or walking their 2 dogs she is knitting gifts for friends or product for her shop. Her love for knitting expanded when they lived in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where there was massive amounts of snow for the majority of the year. She lived for the summers, but loved keeping cozy in the what she could knit up during the winter. It started with hats made on a loom and then a scarf on the needles. She continued to learn new techniques and found herself making product for people all over the United States by selling online. Read their story
