Janis Savitt, a native New Yorker, has had a fascination with jewelry since a young age. While still in high school, she created pieces for Van Cleef and Arpels, Cartier, Henri Bendel and Bloomingdales. Since then, Janis has received international acclaim for her excellence in design and superior quality. She has won 3 De Beers Diamond International Awards and was nominated 3 times by the CFDA for Accessory Designer of the Year. Her jewelry has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, W magazine, WWD, InStyle, Glamour, Allure, Us Weekly, People, Numéro, Interview, V magazine and many more. She has created designs for global fashion houses and brands including Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Carolina Herrera and Jill Stuart. Since her debut collection, Janis has become a favorite among celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Ashley Olsen, Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Lady Gaga, Oprah, Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Serena Williams and Uma Thurman among many others who have worn her jewelry. Janis was featured numerous times on Oprah’s Favorite Things for her signature Cobra Bracelets and Hoop Earrings.
