About Fearless Flavour

In the cold months of 2010, inspired by a lack of choice of fresh chillies available in the supermarkets, we decided to plant a few varieties of some of the more interesting sounding chilli peppers. ‘A few’ swiftly exceeded 100 and it became apparent that the windowsill was no longer a suitable location for what was becoming more than a mere hobby. By February 2011 we realised we needed a greenhouse and by spring it was clear that a larger poly-tunnel was our only way forwards; by that August we discovered that chilli plants can produce a HUGE crop and when your passion for gardening is matched only by your passion for food there is really only one direction to go; chilli sauces! Beginning with a few spicy gifts for the locals in the village it was clear that we were on to something. After a successful small batch of sauces we got to working on a larger batch with the intent to sell at our local farmers’ market, where we completely sold out. Throughout that autumn we cooked and sold at various markets and by Christmas we had our fledgling business fully launched. Since then we've gone from strength to strength, but still have the same people and hands-on approach to bringing you these delicious products.
