About Bear Hug Honey Company

On August 24th, 2017 Bear Hug Honey Company opened its doors for the very first time. The owner, Sam Johnson, is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Agricultural Economics. After graduating from U.G.A. in 2006, Sam volunteered at Farmers' Markets, and from there discovered a passion for honeybees and honey. Ever since, he's been hooked on the sweet life, and has been working with honeybees, honey, and passionate beekeepers.
