Pipe lamps have been around for decades. Although most of them look interesting, we feel that there is much more that these pieces of art have to offer. That’s why we decided to sit down, bring together many reused brass fittings, steel tubes, and try to think out a new design. The design that would combine minimalism, premium materials, and spirit in order to create a new one-of-a-kind lamp experience. After many iterations, sleepless nights in the workshop, and countless hours of handcrafting, we created the first Lampman. We offered it in an online auction place and received enormous attention from collectors of designer items. This encouraged us to continue perfecting the first design and also develop new ones. Currently, we offer 5 different designs combing materials such as brass, stainless steel, zinc plated steel, or regular steel. Every part of Lampman is machined, polished, and assembled just in the way you can see in the video. The individual parts are sourced from different places such as decommissioned machines, torn-down factories (etc.). Some are purchased brand new. This mixture of origins adds to the unique value of Lampman. This is accentuated by small dents and unevenly machined surfaces which make these lamps simply one-of-a-kind.Read their story
