About Wild Honey Pie Design

I've always been crafty as long as I can remember, but I developed a love for beading when my mom taught me the basics back in high school. I loved taking an assortment of beads and turning them into something creative and beautiful- the idea that there are endless possibilities with different patterns and designs truly amaze me. It wasn't until years later when I lived in Portland that I took more classes on beadwork. I am also self-taught through exploration and trial and error. I now enjoy creating handwoven bohemian jewelry with needle and thread. Creating my jewelry puts me in a meditative state where I can tune out and enjoy being in the moment with my needle, thread, and beads. I love pouring my heart and positive intentions into the pieces I create. Knowing someone somewhere wears and loves my jewelry as much as I do fills my heart.
