About Impala

Jewelry is my passion. I traveled to Thailand for the first time in 1994. During my wandering through Bangkok, I discovered the world of gold and silver jewellery - and was immediately fascinated. 2 years later, I bought my first pieces of jewellery, which I offered at various markets and city festivals. It wasn't long and I was asked by other jewelry retailers and local businessmen where these amazing, fancy jewelry came from and where they could buy them for your store. It was then in 1998. The company was founded. A suitable name had to be found first. After long discussions with friends, I then chose Impala. Impala is an African antelope species that looks good, agile and fast and can jump high. The American automaker Chevrolet also uses the name Impala.
