About Studio Portmanteau

Welcome to Studio Portmanteau! We are a stationery brand happily based out of a bright, cheerful studio space in a historic building in downtown Grants Pass, Oregon, USA. Each product sold in the shop is a one-of-a-kind creation dreamed up & brought to life by our team in the Pacific Northwest. Our own design work is inspired by a passion for the simple things in life - stargazing, beachcombing, gardening, reading, cooking, the great outdoors - plus a fascination with vintage things & an obsession with all things golden. From our start as an Etsy shop selling handmade wedding favors back in 2013, we have built our brand by partnering with small-scale artisans & manufacturers based in the US. Every material we work with, be it linen, wood, or paper, is chosen to be high-quality, durable, & timeless. We trained on our own vintage embossing presses, & still print our wedding invitations & greeting cards by hand on our letterpress. When you purchase one of our goods, you are acquiring a carefully crafted, bespoke item that was designed, packaged, & sent out with tradition, love, & care by the Studio Portmanteau team.
