About Sona Equestrian

I'm Darlene Ivey, an equestrian and artist whose life has been deeply intertwined with a passion for horses. From a young age, I was either riding horses or drawing them, which naturally led me to a career as a sales representative and consultant in the equestrian industry for over a decade. In the past year, I dedicated myself to spending 30 minutes each day on my artwork, culminating in the creation of Sona Equestrian. The business is named after my loyal dog, Sona, who is often by my side, along with my two beautiful mares, Winnie and Phree. These three companions are my constant motivation and inspiration. My artwork has evolved significantly over the past year, and I take great joy in transforming my creations into surface patterns and new products. At Sona Equestrian, I offer a range of equestrian-themed art, gifts, and books, all inspired by the natural beauty of horses and ponies. My collection includes paper goods like greeting cards, postcards, bookmarks, and stickers; giclee fine art prints of my original artwork; mugs and tumblers; and bags and phone accessories.
