MyPotteryArt.BCN is my brand, my name is Marta de Juan Llinás, a ceramist with 20 years of experience, an artist passionate about natural, rustic and functional ceramics, creator of original and beautiful unique pieces to be used in everyday life while decorating and shining the personality of the buyer's home. For a few years now I have been dedicated exclusively to enjoying my vocation, selling in exhibitions and decoration stores. I am inspired by nature: the blue of the sea, the forests in autumn, beautiful sunsets... and I recreate myself in the transformation of clay by modeling practical trays, bowls, fruit bowls, vases, vases, plates... Special mention should be made of my multi-storey trays supported inside by a solid wrought iron bar by hand by a master craftsman. I have developed a special collection of ceramic table clocks named “El temps es fon”/” Time Melts” small sculptures that are silent clocks that work, all of them unique pieces in format and decoration. I work different clay pastes, the most common ones are Stoneware and Stoneware Refractories. The process is slow, after the second firing at high temperature (1,200ºC) the enamels are vitrified, giving each piece solidity and personality. Marta de Juan Llinás has been trained at the prestigious “Escola de Ceràmica de la Bisbal d'Empordà” -Girona- and currently has her workshop in the province of Barcelona -Catalonia- (Spain).Read their story
